To close out 2015, members of the Northern Tulare County (NTC) Water Alliance participated in a field trip on December 5th to the Terra Bella Water Treatment Plant to learn first-hand about the surface water treatment option being proposed for the Northern Tulare County region. Starting with their first meeting of 2016 on January 9th, the NTC Water Alliance will be delving into more detail on the pros and cons of the governance alternatives their region could pursue. In addition, the Alliance is taking steps to increase awareness of the project and broaden participation by area residents, including the formal launch of a website, the approval of outreach and education materials, and the planning of upcoming community meetings.
